We played a new math game today - Racing Dice. We rolled our die and traced over the number we added up or counted - until one of our numbers raced to the top!
We had so much fun listening to our 8th graders speak about Baker School during this year's convocation. We heard about the importance of effort, community, and academics as well as a beautiful violin solo. Here's to a wonderful school year!
Today in 1D, we used a tens frame to count the letters in our name, found if that number was more or less than ten, and subtracted!
This afternoon, Timon and Pumbaa taught us all about internet safety in Safety Smart. We now know how to be safe, smart, and kind online!
Today we worked on increasing our stamina during reading workshop. We learned how to pick a good spot in the room where we would not be distracted by our friends!
We read "Arthur's Family Vacation" and then wrote about our favorite family vacation. Our parents will try and figure out what their child wrote at the Curriculum Breakfast on Thursday at 8:05.
