Tardiness
If your child arrives later than 8:05 AM, they must go to the main office. They should sign in and then will be guided to the 1D classroom. Attendance is taken right away, and students who enter the classroom past 8:05 AM must be marked as tardy.
Absences Due to Illness
If your child has a fever of 100.4 or higher, has vomited, or has had diarrhea, he or she can only return to school 24 hours after the symptoms have cleared. If your child will be missing school due to illness, please call the office at 617-879-4500 to let them know; this is paramount for your child’s safety.

Vacations During School Time
If you will be away on vacation, you must notify the office ahead of time. Extended, planned absences due to vacation/family travel must be shared with the office before your child’s absence.
Note: Baker teachers cannot send work home for your child to do during vacation.
